Ok so this page has been blank long enough so i have decided to do something about this. As a result this page is going to give you some background information into me and my life.

My Real name is Kristiaan, it's an alternative spelling of the standard Christian (it was my mothers choice) from what i have worked out about the spelling its Polish and / or South African (depends on where you come from).

for those who are interested here is a picture of me and my charming girlfriend Elizabeth, please excuse this picture in general i am not very photogenic at all, Liz loves to pose for photographs and like this one most of her photos never look very natural at all.

I live i South Wales near Cardiff, i got into computers and everything electronic early on when i nearly ended my life at the age of 4 on a set of faulty Xmas lights (well my grandparents we aware of there faultyness after i pointed it out, but having myself thrown across the room by the shock). after that i guess

From the time i could hold a soldering iron and screw driver all i can remember was dismantling things in the hope to build some sort of cyborg, time machine, stungun ( can you see where i got the inspiration for that one?) only to normally build a mass of wires and circuit boards that either never worked OR generated a large volume of acrid smoke when i first switched it on...

It was also at the same time i figured out that microchips for there size generated an incredible amount of heat just after they produced smoke, i spent most of my life with some chip manufacturer or other tattooed on one or more fingertips.

after going through the education system and getting into electronics and computers in an even bigger way i left school and started work for a small computer company local to me, i worked here for a number of years more on the hardware side of computers than anything else.

Eventually i bought a computer, at the time it was a beast (Pentium 75Mhz 8mb ram 850 Mb hard disk) and within a week i broke it... well i deleted some files i deemed non essential (windows though otherwise) and it was around that time i decided i wanted to know what i had done and how i could fix it, so my boss at the time decided to help me out and train me up as a visual Basic Developer, i spend the next year in visual basic and eventually converted over to borland delphi for the next 4 year, i was content and eventually got into an insurance company located in cardiff, which is where i am now.

presently at the age of 27, with a long term girl (who i am engaged to) and a house (which is in ruins at the moment) life is going good for me.

More to come.....
