Well i have finally taken the plunge... for years (6-8) i have been developing software for windows systems, i have written many different programs for many different purposes in the past, so when i was blessed with the ability (enough free cash) to purchase an Apple Mac laptop i went for it.

So my obvious progression would be to start developing software for the Apple Mac. so i got stuck in, and was quite shocked at the time to find out that it was pretty much C / C++ or nothing.....

Now to me this was far to much of an uphill struggle to learn the C / C++ system just to knockout simple application and utilities, so i lay my interest to rest, eventually RealBasic came along....

Blink and you missed it.

Think the subject says it all really, was it me or did Christmas go through quicker than a half cooked turkey sandwich?

Every year in my eyes Xmas seems to go by quicker and quicker, and as normal i have my theory as to why i think it is.

if your friends are anything like mine they start earlier and earlier each year, this year people started talking about xmas around about October, at this point i was excited about the thought of all the decorations, the chance of snow (how ever slim) the parties etc etc.

It Finally Happened

I knew this day would come, i even thought about it when i first setup this site, and like all those IT Admins out there that setup servers and leave FTP open with no password set, i thought....

It'll never happen to me.

but apparently my little part of the internet has been found out and defiled by those unrelenting Spambots, ok so what am i rambling about your asking?

New House!!

Its been a little quiet on here latly and thats only thanks to me and my lack of time to post at the moment on Thursday last week me and my girlfriend finally completed on our first house !!

As a result i have now been given the commandments of the girlfriend to get it sorted, at this present time in life it needs some work to make it look shiny and new, so far i have managed to remove all the plasterboards from the downstairs ceilings, and partially dismantle a dividing wall.

Flip key conversion for vectras

going to rewrite my article i made a while ago here as you can see its not really in keeping with my site anymore and i figured it needs an overhaul..

Pointless Traffic...

I live a fair distance away from where i work and as a result i drive each day, and apart from the normal level of people who believe they either own the road or have the abilities of a professional rally driver, the thing that grates on my nerves the most is pointless traffic.

I'm sure you all know what i am referring to when i mention this, its the sort of traffic that causes an hour long delay with no apparent reason, OK When there is an accident or broken down vehicle i can accept this, as there is a reason for it.

But most of the time traffic slows to a crawl, which your then unavoidably stuck in, as you move along the motorway, wondering why things are moving this slowly,

First Post

Hi and welcome to my blog,

Whats the reason for this site you asking? nothing really its just a place i can share my thoughts (and rants) , and a place for me to show my creative powers with projects and modifications that i have done in the past, this could be hardware, software or anything that can be dismantled with a screwdriver...

Throughout my life most of my friends have come to realise i am a jack of all trades, there is not much i will not "have ago at" there have been the few odd moments in my life where i have been in the middle of something wondering if it was a wise idea and would i survive it...

but as the old saying goes, "if you don't try you don't know" (well i hope this was an old saying and not my mind making things up again).

Anyway stay a while have a look around and been as this is a blog feel free to comment on anything you fancy.

Thanks
